WHAT WE BELIEVE
At our core, we are growers, caretakers, and lifelong learners. What began as a simple love for watching things grow has blossomed into a deep passion for cultivating healthy soil, raising happy animals, and living a life rooted in purpose and connection.
Our farm is built on the principles of regenerative agriculture, where every plant, animal, and practice works together to restore the land and create a thriving, sustainable ecosystem. Whether we’re tending to berries and cut flowers, brewing compost tea, or caring for our rare-breed chickens, everything we do is guided by respect for the earth and the belief that good stewardship matters.
We’re committed not only to growing food and beauty, but also to teaching others the skills that have shaped our own journey. From homesteading basics to soil health, poultry care, and sustainable farm practices, we share what we’ve learned in hopes of inspiring more people to cultivate their own piece of Eden—no matter the size.
Here, you’ll find a community built around curiosity, creativity, and a shared love of living closer to the land. Welcome to our farm, where growth happens in every season.

OUR STORY
IN SEARCH OF EDEN...
Seeking Eden is the life’s work of Jim and Heidi Miller, built by hand, season by season, on land we’ve lovingly cared for for more than 25 years. What started as a simple desire to live closer to the land grew into a deep-rooted commitment to growing things well—plants, animals, soil, and family.
Over the years, we've planted hundreds of trees, berry and lavender plants by hand, learning firsthand what the land could teach us through both successes and setbacks. We've raised four children alongside countless animals, navigating multiple farm ventures and homesteading chapters along the way. Through it all, one truth remained constant: we simply love to grow things and care for living systems.
At the heart of our work is a deep respect for regenerative agriculture. Healthy soil is the foundation of everything here. From compost and worms to thoughtful pasture management and sustainable growing practices, the focus is always on improving the land—building soil life so it can, in turn, grow healthy, nutrient-dense food.
Today, Seeking Eden is more than a farm. It’s a place of learning, sharing, and community. We are passionate about passing along the skills we’ve gathered over decades of hands-on experience, helping others reconnect with food, animals, and the land in meaningful, practical ways.
This is our Eden—grown slowly, tended with care, and shared with purpose.

WE WELCOME YOU...
We warmly invite you to come experience Seeking Eden for yourself. Whether you’re joining us for a hands-on workshop, wandering the fields during a U-pick day, or simply taking a slow walk around the farm, our hope is that you feel what we feel every time we step outside—a deep sense of peace, connection, and joy.
This land has a way of slowing things down. It invites you to get your hands in the soil, breathe a little deeper, and remember what it feels like to be rooted in something real.
Here, learning happens naturally—through shared stories, thoughtful practices, and the rhythms of the seasons.
We believe farming isn’t just about growing food; it’s about cultivating community. When you visit, you’re not just attending an event—you’re stepping into a living, breathing landscape shaped by care, intention, and love for the land.
We look forward to welcoming you, sharing what we’ve learned, and offering a place where you can reconnect—with the earth, with each other, and with the quiet beauty of a life well tended.
